Default Pilot Super Sport - awful tread wear ?

Aprox 5k miles on my super sports. When putting the summer wheels back on today I measured only 4/32 on the rears and 6/32 on the fronts.

Daily driver. No track days. I didn't lite them up even once.

This can't be normal ..or is it? I have an inquiry into Michelin regarding warranty. I believe these have a 30k warranty. I won't get 10k out of them. Ouch.

Not normal. I usually get ~18k miles out of the rears.

What would cause this? Bad batch of tires? My alignment is good. Camber not aggressive. The wear is even.

Alignment was done after coil over / fcab / rtab install. Aprox 15k miles ago. No changes since then.

For the rears I guess I would look into rtabs, those can cause really quick wear when going bad.

Wouldnt it cause uneven wear?

RTABs that move around too much will cause excessive toe in when accelerating and toe out when braking. It'll cause the rear inside tread to constantly scrub. I lost fresh tires within one season of driving because my RTABs were done.

My front driver side toe went out of spec and prematurely wore out the inside at ~26K, but the rest of the tire and the front passenger still had meat left. I still have my rears with ~30K and prob another 2-3K safely out of them. No track days, aggressive street alignment, weekend canyons, some west coast roadtrips, monball RTABs, etc. These tires kick ass.

How's your wear across the width of the tire? Alignment (specifically toe) specs?
