Interested as well.

Are these kits for the clutch pack unit in our car or is a specific one needed?

specific one needed, E39 M5 TYP210 LSD, it's a ZF unit with 2 clutches.

you can install this 4 clutch upgrade in it.

also e34, 750, 735, 535, etc ... have the same ZF unit

I was thinking about going the same route. An older diff with the ZF unit will run $250 at a minimum. Then clutch discs, parts, etc...you're getting close to an OS Giken or a ZF conversion from Diffsonline or Jim Blanton.

You may want to consider the Autotech Driveline Clubsport limited slip (below:

or if you want to go all in, consider the Drexler limited slip. I love mine.

$3k...probably not but you'll have to DIY everything. You'll need bearings, shims (not cheap), bolts, M12/M14 adaptors, and lots of other little parts. Then you'll need access to a press or buy one. Plus other specialty tools.

It will be an easy $1500. L

Yes 1500 is a more realistic estimation.

If you use the stock motorsport gears 3.64 u dont need the shims and you get all the parts u need from thayer motorsports

Pretty easy mod and easy on the wallet as well
