Agreed! I bought in on the first one, so I knew about the embossed "motive" and great packaging, but the detail and color on this one really blew my mind.

Stopped at Michael's on my way home from work on Friday. They were having a sale on their wall frames. Turned out great and will get a custom mat cut for both soon.

The big frame came out to $14.99 after the 70% off discount.

Can't wait to get them mounted on the wall! White with CSL bits. Well minus the cf room but minor detail.

Looks great I plan to order the AW CSL as well but I'll ask Wes to include the CF roof

Finally framed my custom, still need to frame my generations poster. I had Wes do my E30 Evo in black.

Well I have to be honest, I'm annoyed. Quality of the print is great, but the cut/size is not. I bought the CF look 2" frames mentioned in this thread since somebody already showed them mounted and I didn't want any headaches. Unfortunately my small print is too wide and my large print is too tall. After trying to frame, and then stopping to measure, both prints are slightly larger than their stated dimensions.

Are we supposed to have to get these things trimmed in order to fit in their stated 18x24 and 24x36" frames? This sucks. I hope I didn't ruin my prints trying to force them in.

Mine was also, I just went to the Michaels/Hobby Lobby type place and they cut it for free when I bought a frame and matting.

136 posts and this is the first time someone mentions that? If I had known, I would have taken it somewhere to get framed instead of ordering some fancy frames online.

Is there any support for prints getting damaged/creased/scratched during framing because they didn't fit? Honestly this is the first time I've ever had issues framing anything. Frames are usually built with a little leeway, my prints were plenty off, at least 1/4" too big (as mentioned, one too wide, one too tall).

Any craft store or printing place (UPS store/FedEx Kinkos) will have a big paper cutter and most likely do it for very little money possibly free if you went at an off time. It's a fixable situation

My issue is whether I damaged them significantly when trying to frame them. Some edges were definitely marked up by the metal tabs, hopefully they should be hidden. Any creases however... I seriously thought I was a moron until I stopped to measure the prints. We're not talking a couple millimeters here. My frames were already slightly larger than the specified dimensions.

I don't see why there wasn't even a single mention of recommended professional installation due to inconsistent sizing or trimming. The fact that each one of my prints have a single, opposite correct dimension just makes me feel that Motive's quality control isn't up to par.
