I find the seats comfortable enough but just as has been said I cant see the speedo
properly when Ive got the steering wheel in the comfortable lowest position. Its a pain in speed camera territory.

What the???

I find these seats some of the most comfortable I've driven in, perfect driving position in all regards... my only complaint is the A pillar soemtimes getting in my view. Out of curiosity, those of you that find the car somewhat uncomfortable, are you on the shorter side?

The only thing I find uncomfortable about the seats is the constant rusty bed spring squeeks that radiate from them regardless if they're empty or weighted down!!!!
Driving me insane and I really want to pull the fronts and see what's going on.

factory seats aren't that comfortable; lacks lower back support. Plus I find myself sliding around a lot in just normal driving (I have full adjustability option).

Having said that, I find the seats to look great and matches the rest of the interior perfectly. Plus it's not my daily so I can live with it.

I find them comfortable but I sit very upright. Granny style perhaps.

I'm essentially 6 foot tall. Still find them uncomfortable, not to mention you sit on them rather then in them.

Opinions?
Most comfortable seats I've been in long term. Took an 1100 mile road trip and never once got sore or tired from the seats, super super comfortable for me.
Finding the prefect position for reach, seeing out the window etc is a bit hard though.

If I ever go back into another s54 I think I want a stick z4m. That car looks more comfortable in every way and newer.

Just recently I sat in m friends e46 for 2 hrs and boy was it uncomfortable. I remembered why I sold my car in the 1st place.
lol, ok then.

Stock seats are terrible. At separate times I was on the verge of selling both my M3's, but upgrading the seats made all the difference in the world. Enjoy the cars far more now; if I couldn't upgrade the seats i'd have gotten rid of them too.

Just got back yesterday from a five day road trip from Concord to San Diego and back. Straight shot down/back is about 500 miles or so; took me 8.5 hours down, and about 10 back. Why so long? Because my skinny ass would start to actually hurt after about 2-3 hours, so I would start looking forward to a gas break. I was constantly shifting around to alleviate the pressure. Short trips are not an issue. This trip has now started to force me to contemplate what it is I want from this car. Maybe the simple answer as many are posing is Recaros.
