Default Can I swap competition Springs in my e93

I have a 2008 e93 and was able to obtain for free set of competition edition springs from a buddy's e92 is this somthing I can swap with out it messing up the current edc and shocks ? I know it's a lititle stiffer and a 10mm drop.

Shouldn't be a problem. If you were going to go that route though get some aftermarket ones. I put Eibach springs on mine so I could lower a bit. It definitely made the ride a bit stiffer but took corners a bit better. I also didn't want to mess with the EDC so thats why I only did the springs which also lowered the car.

E93 is 10% heavier. I wonder whether bmw puts stiffer springs on it to compensate. You should at least get 10mm or 3/8 inch lowering from the ZCP springs, which are shorter but not stiffer than regular E90/92 springs. Maybe even 1/2 inch lowering due to the extra weight.

I would not bother disassembling the struts for such a minor change. I run stiffer aftermarket springs.

The e93 has a different spring weight in the rear. Kw has a different part number for the e93. I guess it's to compensate for the additional 400lbs

How's the handling in an E93?

In another thread someone said the E46 handled better.

The car feels slow/sluggish in the rear stock in comparison to an e92. My kw setup slightly improved it. I'm not tracking the car. I just wanted less gap and adjustability.
