Default Question about Seat

Both of my seats reclining system need replacement/fixing. The handle allows you to put the seat back, but it after releasing the handle, it does not go back to normal position, like it is stuck, perhaps springs are bad. Has anyone faced this issue and how did you fix?

Might also be dirt in the release mechanism. pull out the seat (4 bolts, one on each corner under the seat) remove the plastic cover over the back hinge pin, it has a fake plastic screw in the middle that screws out but pushes in. now it reveals a bunch of working thingies that collect dog hair & can be cleaned w/ patience or pressurized air. 2 springs are also inside the back. 2 screws on the bottom of the back, there's some levers on the side that have to be removed to get the back off. there are 2 levers on the passenger seat, one of them has a screw visible when you pull off the plastic knob . the plastic SLOT that said lever passes through has a hook on one end (top?) and a push-snap on the other (bottom?) end. the slots pull out when the knob is off to access the screw. when the screw is out, the lever comes out on one side and the back slips off (unhooks) from the other.
