I'm also curious about the 'Check Oil' decal. It's strange that RealOEM shows the one decal but not the other. I tried entering different years for e36s and also US vs EU models, but I just can't find it anywhere.

cmon fellas I know somebody knows where to find the check oil sticker. My last car kept them from 117k miles and my second m3/4/5 had them peeled by the PO and its really bugging me..

It like when you buy a new DVD player and it has a sticker that says "insert disc here". The first thing that should be removed and never replaced.

This thread is hilarious though, 'shockwave' is the sensitive type!

I still have every sticker on mine both on the gauges and the run in instructions and don't mess with factory radio sticker on the windshield. Was def a big selling point when I bought mine cause I knew the other 2 owners loved it.

Yep, I still have the "91 octane" and "check oil" decals on my cluster - although the "check oil" decal is fraying around the edges. I also have the BMW security system decals on the side windows.

These decals are the epitome of inconsequential by any metric of logic, but they are very important to me, and other particular people, for intangible reasons.

Did we ever find anything on the 'CHECK OIL LEVEL' decal. IMO it is the more important and relevant; clearly evidence of the engineers nodding their heads to the engines oil consumption. .
