Really? Drop the subject then. Immediately and forever.

No offense to your grandmother, but I could care less what she would do with an M3. What the hell does that have to do with anything?

Maybe you should improve your performance in bed so your girl is actually satisfied for once. Using her vibrator must be getting old by now...

...and I would know as much about your sex life as you would about how I drive... so I'm obviously an expert on the subject, right?

Where were you when Ben made his post about how he loves the stickers on his car?

Again not trying to pry, just stating my opinion and my take on sports cars in general. Like my neighbor who bought a e46 m3 manual and thought it had 7 gears and never ever pushes it hard, it's just a waste to me and not what the ///M (motorsport) was originally about.
Seriously... drop it. I'm not going to ask you nicely again.

If you track a car, you risk destroying it regardless of your skill. This particular car is irreplaceable, and I can't afford to and never want to crash it.

With that said, you have no idea what I do with my car.

You don't see me dumping all over you for that high mileage luxury package fake wheeled car you're driving because I have more class then that, and I happen to like a lot of other things about your car.

Sorry but I can get his s50 performance out of my s52 w/ a s.c. kit...AND NOT HAVE TO KILL A ONE OF A KIND...
I plan on both preserving this car and enjoying it for many, many years after most of you have sold your cars and moved on.

Thanks for understanding my point of view on this one.

Thanks for the lead! The flashlight I bought off of eBay was a pretty good deal then.

If you go to Germany, you will see many older cars that have been well maintained. The typical German driver puts their car through the paces and exercises the motor and suspension.
You obviously appreciate that it's possible to both fanatically take care of a car and enjoy it as well. A point others seem to have trouble grasping.

On the subject of tracking my car - which I will never do on any track that poses a danger of a collision - let me ask you a few questions:

How would you feel if I loaned you my car for a track event and you totalled it?

What would you replace it with?

What would the reaction you get from BMW fans be for the rest of your life whenever you told (or they heard) the story?

Dump all you want. I could really careless about whatever you think about my car. I take care of everything on my own car. I bought the thing myself, I insure it myself, and I pay for all my own mods (sorry I bought rep wheels because I wanted strictly summer tires). That's more than you can say about half the people my age with these cars. Argue all you want about your car, how you drive it, how wonderful it is... I could really give two $hits. I bought this car as a project to make it what I wanted. I didn't buy it all perfect and modded.. It was stock with a cracked windshield, lux crap wood interior, horrible tires and cracked/foggy oem headlights... it was the only way I could afford it. I am sorry I take more pride in my car that I have put my sweat and time into rather than buying a perfect shape low mileage car and taking it to a buddies shop to get worked on.

I'd love to meet in person, I bet you have the nads of a squirrel.

Once again, you're quick to judge and dead wrong with the judgement.

Honestly, I COULD feel the same way as the rest...

The truth is - I am Jealous. There are ONLY 45 1994 s50b30's Can. IN THE WORLD. If your sig is your plaque then you have #1 made.

I can 100% guaranty that BMW, Peterson, or someone like Jay Leno will buy your car for gobbs of cash if it stays low mileage and showroom condition.

There are many many e36's in the world and many many more b30's that make more power if you want them too. With the right amount of money you can have much more fun in any other e36 car. Shoot with the $$$ you will get from yours you can probably build the fastest track rat e36 on the planet.

1 thing others dont realize is that some things cant be replaced...we call this priceless...

for the sake or pissing off everyone else...
NEVER REDLINE THAT THING

Hate to bump a thread that clearly veered off topic. . but the question my Q is the same. The 91 min octane sticker has gone up in price but I cant seem to find the 'CHECK OIL LEVEL REGULARLY' sticker.

Anyone have a part number or know where to order this from?

Thanks
