My car had fully adjustable (lumbar+side) stock seats when I got it, and I hated them. I'm 6', 155lbs, and even with the side bolsters inflated all the way, they never held me in place well while driving even the least bit sportily. My back and legs were always really unhappy after long drives, and at the time my commute to work was an hour each way.

Now I've got Recaro Sportster CSs and I absolutely love them. I've sat in a wide variety of aftermarket seats, from fixed back to the Recaros from a Mitsubishi Evo, and the Sportster CSs are the best all-around seats in my opinion. They're incredibly comfortable and supportive (for a range of body types!), they look like they belong in the E46 M3, they're lighter than stock, etc., etc. Definitely my recommendation for anyone considering new seats.

Hello,

I've improved it making an extra cover which looks much more OEM.

the stock seats aren't uncomfortable because they're too hard, for me it's because they're shaped terribly. i can do 5+ hour road trips in my recaro pole position now compared to hating 20 minute drives on stock seats

No kidding. That or they haven't spent any time in another car to see how bad seats can really be. Other than the appearance of these seats, they are excellent imo but then again body types vary so who knows.

I had a z4m and e90 m3. The e90 m3 had the most comfortable seats, then the e46, then the z4m. The z4m seats look great, but are very uncomfortable.
