I played with the CSL seat mounts that do that-- it's not that useful, only buys you an extra inch or two. Unlike our reclining seats, that tilt forward, the fixed back buckets can only hinge up until they hit the ceiling-- not very useful on most seats.

I think you'd be better off getting something like a sportster CS that can tilt forward at the base, if full back seat access is important to you.

Ahhh ya that makes sense, I didn't think out the logistics of it at all.

Are the CS's harness holes tall enough for a 6'5" fella such as myself?

I think it's going to depend where your height is (legs vs torso)-- only way to know for sure is to test sit.

For me, they're borderline... but just on the side of acceptable.

Has anyone attempted to install E9X M seats or even F80? Or would the price ake it not worth it?

Wouldn't work.

e46 seats are not even close to centered over their sliders. E9X seats are. Mount points on the floor are different, so e9X sliders wouldn't bolt to the floor. The way the slider attaches to the seat is dramatically different as well.

M6 or Z4M seats could work, if you want a different seat from a newer BMW.

F80 seats have been done by a shop in San Diego, Status Gruppe. They have a custom bracket to mount them.

I ended up picking up a set of Cobra Imola ProFit GT seats.

I have the drivers mounted with a brey krause fixed mount and am waiting on a set of sliders for the passenger mount.

Swapped over the pretensioner but have the ABS light on, I am guessing and hoping I can fix it with my INPA program? If anyone knows that would be great.

Thanks

Will there be enough room for an adult so use the rear seats with these?

Already shipping on the e9X and F8X, e46 version in production now.

That said, anything with sliders will be higher than the direct to floor mount. But, still significantly lower than stock!
