If you want to improve stock clutch feel, remove the big helper spring behind the pedal arm and replace the upper pivot bushings with delrin or bronze. You can find details on m3post. Not much tech for these cars here.

What to do for DCT, it slips the clutch quite a bit in 1st and second gear
