noooooo!!!

the roundel on the airbag is part of the airbag. do not attempt to pop off or pry off. ask me how i know.

the airbag is removed with its beautiful roundel in place. you actually cannot purchase that roundel without buying the whole airbag. again, ask me how i know....

there are two cut slits on the back of steering wheel on each side. you need to carefully insert flat head screwdrivers and apply force to each at the same time to pop the airbag out toward the seat. i forget which way the force needs to be applied but once you have the tools in place, you can "feel" for it and will know....or someone who has better memory than i will chime in.

again, do not touch the roundel except for tactile admiration or detailing it.

it is titanium or black. i would say more likely the former than the latter. a little hard to tell b/c of use of flash so close.

It is titanium for sure. I tried to show how light it is with the flash because it looked darker in the other pic.
