My buddy has an evo, for $600 he got an ECU reflash to make another 100hp.

M3s are maxed out tuning wise, maybe a super light exhaust like Amuse will ad 7 horses, a different intake, a CSL header adds some, software upgrade is minimal... so not too many options.
