Default Superprint Full exhaust review

WOW! wasn't quite expecting the results of having this Supersprint Race exhaust installed, but to say the least I'm amazed. I haven't even gotten a Tune on it yet and I know some people say that on a NA car, exhaust might be only good for about 10 HP, but my Damn! my Butt Dyno say's it's a Hell of a lot more than that. I think it's the added Torque that I'm feeling and that Glorious Roar all the way up to 8000 RPM's, but it doesn't even seem like the same Car anymore, almost as if it's gotten a throaty V8 in it now and Man! that Top End scream is intoxicating. Anyways! I'm sure many of you have experienced the same thing, but in my exuberance I thought I might pass on my thoughts. I know this exhaust isn't for everybody, because we all have ideas about what an E46 M3 should sound like, but my car now feels in a lot of ways as fun to drive as my friends 2005 Porsche GT3. It was an expensive modification, but the results to me were absolutely worth it, because I'll never get bored with this car. Now I understand why we love E46 M3's

It's the V1 Headers, Catted Section 1, Dual pipe resonated Section 2 and the Race Muffler. I can just imagine what a Non catted and unresonated exhaust must sound like, maybe too much, because my set up upped the volume considerably in a good way.

That's in the future if at all. I'm on the fence about the CSL airbox, I've seen the videos and love the Sound, just don't know if I have the local resources that I'd be comfortable doing the installation. The Mechanic who has the shop I take my Car to has never done one of these CSL Intake conversions and from some of the comments I've read, it sounds like you really need to know what you're doing to get it to operate correctly. Right now I'm MORE! than happy with my car just the way it is now, but who knows, maybe after more research I'll give it a try. My Mechanic took a bunch of photos and is suppose to send me them, so when I get them, I'll post them.

Car looks good op. I’m sure it sounds great as well.

If you don’t feel the itch for a csl airbox then don’t sweat it. I’ve never wanted one myself, and still don’t. Go find an m3 w/ one and see if it can change your mind.

Thank you, I'm hoping that some day when I go to one of these M3 shows in my area, I'll be able to experience what a CSL box sounds like in person. Then I'll probably start spending a bunch of Money again. Why's the Cool Stuff always expensive
