Thank you for all the interest in the ARC-8 wheels.

It's taken a number of weeks to get an official vendor account setup, but we're finally setup and can answer questions directly. The timing of this Group Buy is a little complicated as we currently do not have enough supply to meet demand. We traditionally open our own Group Buy threads along with a checkout page on our site, once we have availability all sorted out.

Later tonight I will be posting a detailed response on how the Group Buy will move forward, as I've just received shipment updates.

tonights post will include:
  • The official Group Buy price break down
  • The timing of when payments would need to be made
  • The ETA for the different fitments/finishes

Thank you,

-Eddy Pintacsi

Eddy,

Great to have you as a vendor here. I already have one set of your wheels I ordered in early 2009's GB and now I'm looking forward to getting another.

Official APEX ARC-8 wheel Group Buy Information

The ARC-8 wheels have been in very high demand, and because of this we do not have enough stock on hand to meet the current Group Buy demand. BUT we do have two inbound shipments arriving in the coming months, with enough inventory to cover everyone’s needs.

What does this mean?

The Group Buy will be split up into two smaller Group Buys to take advantage of what is in stock now vs. what will be arriving in the coming months. Discount pricing will vary between fitments due to supply and wait times.

Why? There are only about 3-4 sets of 18x9.5” et35 wheels left in stock today. Half a dozen sets will be arriving mid November, along with about a dozen 18x10” sets. This is still not enough to meet the demand of the Group Buy. Our major restocking order is scheduled to arrive at the end of December. This includes about 70 sets of 18x9.5” wheels, 30-40 sets of 17x9” et 42 wheels, and 25 sets of our NEW 18x10.5” et27wheel.

Because we have a reasonable amount of stock in 18x8.5” and 18x9”, and some 18x10” wheels, we have the ability to fulfill some orders almost immediately, while the rest can only be fulfilled at the end of the year.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~
What is the wait time and payment schedule?
M3Forums Group Buy #1
The following sizes will ship out to customers by late November. Some sets will ship out immediately after the close of the Group Buy.
Includes any combination of the following while supplies last (limited to stock on hand and stock arriving in November):
18x8.5” et38
18x9” et42
18x9.5” et35
(can only be purchased as part of a staggered setup)
18x10” et25
Payment in full will be made on www.GroupBuyParts.com by October 31st. We will begin the Payment collection date on October 17th. Wheels will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis for fitment and color. So for wheels that are in low supply, signing up early is the only way to guarantee a set.
M3Forums Group Buy #2
The following sizes will ship out to customers in Late December or worst case scenario early January. These are the wheels arriving in our year end restocking order.
18x9.5” et35
18x10.5” et27
17x9.0” et42
Payment in full will be made on www.GroupBuyParts.com by November 19th. We will begin the Payment collection date on October 31st. Wheels will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis for fitment and color. We have a decent amount of stock arriving, and should be able to meet everyone’s needs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~

What’s my cost?

Group Buy #1 pricing:
Discount is off the purchase price of a set of 4 (four) wheels

$100 Discount plus FREE shipping* for any of the above listed combinations

Group Buy #2 pricing:
Discount is off the purchase price of a set of 4 (four) wheels

18x9.5” et35 sets will receive a $150 DISCOUNT plus FREE Shipping*
18x10.5” et27 sets will receive a $100 DISCOUNT plus FREE Shipping* (NEW SIZE, limited supply)
17x9” et42 sets will receive a $75 DISCOUNT plus FREE Shipping*

*FREE Shipping* - Free shipping is to the 48 US mainland states. All international orders plus Alaska and Hawaii will receive a $75 shipping credit. International orders must contact us prior to ordering for a shipping quote via USPS or UPS.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Retail pricing for reference: Does not include discount
Prices listed below are per wheel
17x9.0” et42 - $259
18x8.5” et38 - $289
18x9.0” et42 - $299
18x9.5” et35 - $314
18x10.” et25 - $324
18x10.5” et27 - $344
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Please let me know if you have any questions. The first Group Buy won’t be opening until October 17th, so we have time to clarify any questions you have. I know for some this will be too long of a wait, but this is why we have historically posted our own Group Buys when there is a minimum wait time.

Thank you,

-Eddy Pintacsi

I'm sitting on the fence whether to get the 9.5's or 10's, however I'm concerned about front fitment issues with the 10's. I'm running -3 camber up front, will I have rubbing issues with 275/35's or should I just go with square 9.5's?

I'm in for group buy 2

I have a question on the fitment of 18x10 et25 for front and rear. I will be using a square setup for street and track (I track about once a month) and I have front Brembo 355mm brakes on my e46 M3. I am considering 18x10 instead of 9.5 so that I wouldn’t have to use the spacer in the front. Will 18x10 clear the front Brembo without spacer and would I have to roll the fenders (front and rear or just front)? I am on stock suspension, camber, and ride height. I may want to use 275 width tires (instead of 265) since the 10” wheel width is a little wider and the sidewall of the tire is a little taller. I may end up rolling the fender anyway.
