Geez, at that point you'd think it might be easier/cheaper to just find a straight m3 and swap all the parts over. At least here in the states finding a high mileage example is fairly easy. Perhaps for sentimental value, Phil is wanting to keep the current frame?

Having talked to a few euro m3 guys on Instagram they are very expensive over there. Like 20k euro for a smg.

He’s mentioned he’s doing it for sentimental value. it’s the car that got him noticed. If it wasn’t for that, he probably wouldn’t bother with an e46 with the cars he has.

You can find right hand drive cars for considerably less, which is what he has being in UK.
