Before I bought my current M3, I looked at a Red one that had a lot of cool parts on it, but obviously had been Tracked a lot. It had those vents in the Hood and one of my Buddy's expressed some concerns about those vents and rain. I hardly ever drive my car in the rain, but when I do it's usually on a day when it's not raining very much, so if I did have them I wouldn't be too concerned. The vents are angled back, so as long as you are moving I'd think water getting in would be very little, it's just if the car is parked somewhere and it's raining hard that I'd be concerned about water getting down into any of the electronics.
