At least BMW didn't lose it's ability to offer such nice wheels, they are very nice! The E46 ZCP wheel is just such a nice OEM wheel..... the best looking OEM wheel of any manufacturers!

I guess there in lies the Rub, what else could you get for 85k. I know those new C8 Corvettes start at about $60K and it runs 0-60 in about 2.8 seconds, but it really comes down to what your into. If you like BMW's, this Limited edition M2 CS, there's only going to be around 2000 made, so in BMW circles it would be kind of a rarity, but there are certainly other makes of cars that will probably blow the fenders off this M2 CS. The new C8 Z06 is rumored that it's going to make 800 HP and will probably be somewhere north of $100K. I love my E46 M3, but I certainly believe a 800 HP ZO6 Corvette that is rear engined would keep me entertained for a long time. My buddies 2015 Porsche GT3 was $175,000, has 475HP and I'm sure that Vette would smoke it, but I'm not really sure I'd enjoy the drive better than that Porsche. I think what I like most about my M3 ZCP is the Raw feeling and how involved I feel with it when driving. It doesn't have fancy digital gauges, no Turbos, corners like a Go Kart and is solid as at billet piece of Steel and certainly fast enough to keep my interest, but my friend has asked me several times if I want his Porsche and if I needed to sell my M3 to get it, I might have to let her go. I doubt there's ever been a production BMW ever made that will quite match that GT3 with that PDK Transmission and if you ever get a chance to drive one, do it, because it's one of the greatest experiences you'll never forget and I'm always contemplating buying one, but in the mean time I can go out and drive it almost anytime I wish without the payment.

That subset is rather limited, and mostly all 2-seaters.

GT4 would be my pick, used though they are.
I forgot all about that 2020 Porsche GT4, it has 414HP and suppose to be an amazing track Car. I'd go for that, before one of these M2 CS's.

So I am definitely in the minority....But I love it. I think it looks good and can only imagine how fun it is to drive.

Not for $85k...but that's because I don't have $85k of disposable income. If I did, I would be looking at Porsche.

That being said, I wanted to hate the M2C....after driving it...I loved it. Honestly...And I REALLY wanted to hate it. I have no doubt that a simple flash tune and charge pipe will put this car into the 600+ hp territory. If I am being honest, If someone wanted to trade my e46 M3 for this, I wouldn't hesitate before they changed their minds. Would I miss my e46 M3? Yes....but I'd make the trade. Someone sell their M3, buy this, hate it and miss your 46M...then PM wanting to trade.

600HP, good grief, that would certainly make for an entertaining drive in this car. I watched some videos last night and came across this Manhart 550 video. Not a big fan of Shmee, but he gets to drive some awfully cool cars.

I don't see anything to complain about the way that car sounds and seem to perform, so maybe this M2 CS might be quite a bit different from a standard M2. Anyways, I don't understand the dislike of M2's

I just heard this kid at a meet say he would never trade his e46 m3 for a new M2c that parked next to him. I looked over the kid’s car, convertible smg with China wheels, rattle can green stock calipers, Home made muffler, and paint that looks like it was attacked by a bear.

no m2 owner would trade for his $2k pos either. Hell, I wouldn’t trade my XBox for his e46.

Some people truly love the e46, however most are just delusional pretenders

I’m serious lol. It happens quite a lot actually. My friends with the shittiest cars are the biggest critics. They think they’re purists and any new hyped cars are “cookie cutter”.

Not a fan of the M2 look... but to be honest the black color seems to make up for the shortcomings somehow. Makes it look more masculine and balances out the "goofy" image

It’s completely unrelated. I fail to see how this is even a discussion if you have even the smallest level of understanding when it comes to design approach and driving dynamics.
