New exhaust video + Aukey DR01 dash cam

Finally got a dash cam for the car. Went with a cheaper ($40 shipped) Aukey DR01. It has all the features I want including motion sensor and built in screen. It’s currently routed to my cigarette lighter for a semi clean job (temporary).

I didn’t bother using the permanent mount. I used the suction cup which is still fairly discrete. Unless it’s an OE part, all tech accessories are purchased/installed as a temporary mod.

Cleaned up the Dixis a bit. Realized the hanger bolts were extremely loose. I mustíve forgot to tighten them, 4yrs ago lol. Torqued them down to 16 ft-lbs.

Just remembered these donít require the 3rd hanger. Goes to show how light this exhaust is

Checked up on the diff and where the reinforcement plates were welded. All good!

Winter break agenda: clean throttle bodies, ICV, and replace TPS next to the starter while the manifold is off.

Dirty as hell

ICV after spraying it down, the flap clanks effortlessly now.

New TPS

All clean

Looking good! Did you use anything special to clean the TB and ICV?

I just used the maf cleaner I had laying around. The pressure from the spray in itself was enough to loosen the flap. Rag and old toothbrush to reach deep in the TB.

The car definitely feels peppier after cleaning the throttle bodies/ICV. Almost like having the sport button engaged type difference.
