A supercharger is a better bang for the buck than the HPF turbo. With the money you save from the S/C instead of turbo, you can buy coilovers and be fast in the turns, too.

Sounds a great plan! HPF Stg2 is nice!! After 6yrs of ownership my last mods was in the engine. I went with the VF kit for about 4 months but then switched to the HPF kit as the S/C was not for me

Now I still want to upgrade to Stg2.5 but we ll see I am not in rush...so far I am loving my Stg2.

Neither, the price you pay for the power you make aint even worth it. Stay stock and enjoy the car the way it is.

Agreed, they're both a total waste of money. The car is plenty powerful as it is.

Yup. Power is a subjective issue, to some, 300 rwhp is plenty, to others it's paltry. It just depends on personal needs.

Personally I would never purchase an E46 M3 to try to reach the 500-600 hp mark, just because it cost way too much for the power you're making. Basically, you're getting the exact opposite of "bang for the buck".

If I wanted a car that makes gobs of power for relatively cheap, then get a Supra, Terminator Cobra, etc.

News flash: You can be quick in corners without coilovers.
