Default technoviolet teenage dreams do come true

Earlier this year on a whim as I was kiiiinda looking for something to distract myself from the real stuff going on in life, this popped up locally on Craigslist, so I bought it.

At 107k the PO had owned it for 3-4 years and only put about 3k miles on it, during that time adding an AA Rotrex based supercharger setup and some nice maintenance additions, some not so nice aftermarket wing, so I figure worst case scenario the engine is beat and I end up with an S54 swapped TV coupe. So far so good.

Iíve put almost 5k on it since March, no idea how, but itís more fun than I had anticipated with the little blower, though Iíd prefer it was one of the roots style, it is just enough power for this setup imo.

When I first picked it up I had to do some minor maintenance of cleanup on the POís work, but nothing major, just some questionable wiring and routing in the engine bay, and some seriously warped rotors on the Wilwood bbk, which may come off and be replaced with stock.

Spent a little time the other day cleaning up the front end and removed the old laminx that has kept these zkwís looking absolutely fresh, and decided to leave them bare for a bit to enjoy that clean glass look which Iím sure Iíll regret at the first pit.

The brute keeping an eye on things while I work in the back. Yes the garage is a disaster of stacked e46 parts and a couple interiors just taking up space.

Thanks, unfortunately it's had some paintwork done, but the color match is spot on for me, but I know that is a deal breaker for some. The pros are all panels are original vin stickered, with the front bumper skin being Dot-R as I learnt when pulling the headlights this weekend.

First thing I did was have it paint corrected and ceramic coated as I hoped it would make it easier to keep clean with my wash schedule. Unfortunately, at the same time my door panel vinyl let loose, the neighbors sprinklers also hard water stained my passenger side Any tips to removing it with a ceramic coating or should I just take it back to them and let a pro handle it?

I was going to ask if it was a 3.0 or 3.2 liter, but with that blower on there, I'm sure it's got gobs of power/torque everywhere. That's a nice toy ya got there. The "traction control throttle body" seems to be gone so take it easy on the go-pedal post apex!

Yep has the TMS manifold swap kit, but pretty sure it leaks under boost at the icv fitting. I wonder if it would even be drivable with ACS, traction is decent enough with good rubber, but no experience on the track with it yet.

Seems like I have no LSD compared to my E46, rtabs were shot so I replaced them with those Syncro Design monoball units and still wants to step out one direction anytime wot in 1-2 gear. Tried the figure 8 test and it lays down down a set of tracks.

Have a decent clunk on rebound from the rear, Iím thinking the shock isnít set correctly and the spring is being unloaded and unseated, Fortune Auto 500 has adjustable bodies that may need to be reset. Other than that maybe the subframe mounts are worn out, havenít

Other than that this thing is a rock solid purchase for the buy in $, no complaints

Trade you my Depos with HIDs for your ZKWs. Car should be back in Katy later this month, so you can pick up GT wing if you’re still interested..trunk included for free bc I don’t want to deal with removing the double sided tape

I think Iíll keep the ZKWís, but depending on what you want for the wing Iíll take it minus the trunk.
