Fair enough. Personally having had the opportunity to drive an M3 w/ a stock steering rack again, I don't miss it.

I wonder how many miles are on mine. I got mine off a guy parting out his ZHP years ago and didn't bother rebuilding it. Still seems to be working well.

Curious as to why, which oil cooler are you replacing?

I'm going back to stock because...
-my oil isn't any cooler with the C&R than it was stock. Either way it settles at ~260į on track. It doesn't seem to proceed beyond that, and that temp is within spec, so I'm not going to fruitlessly fight it
-stock fits better with the OE ducting (which might be part of why I get the same oil temps either way)
-stock is lighter (and on the nose of the car)

Well, I’m a bit disappointed. The truck/semi weight station had told me the car weighted 3071 lbs, but it would seem that was optimistic. 3112 lbs with a 3/4 tank. Pretty sure that means I’m not going to be able to get it under 3000 lbs with a full interior and quiet (stock weight) muffler

On the other hand, 52.6% front, 47.4% rear is better than I was expecting!

My winter projects will likely get it just under 3100 lbs.

Should be useful on track (running on my head unit):

Only needs these little sensors on the valve stems:

Iím very pleased with the stock look of the avin3, and all the functionality itís enabled (not to mention the ~50 lbs of weight saving)!

The valve stem sensors are able to take the temperature reading as well?
