Default Seatbelt replacement DIY?

I've searched and cannot find a DIY for seatbelt replacement that doesn't have broken pictures or links.

From what I've heard, it's fairly easy but I want to be sure it's done correctly since it is a safety feature.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Just remove stuff and install. There's nothing to look out for safety wise (other than making sure you tighten the fasteners).

Is there a DIY to improve slow retractors for the front shoulder belts that go into the pillar?

Use a polish that decreases the friction without changing the material sheen/color. Even a light spray car wax might work (one that doesn’t leave a white residue in crevices). Guys have suggested shoe polish in the past.
