It is in the back of the engine, there is no other way to attach it. UUC description is wrong. Or, by "X-Brace toward the front of the car" means not rear x-brace.

Not the update on Dakar - waiting on some tensioners/belts/pulleys to get rid of the annoying squeak. So that probably going to be sometime before holidays.

Meanwhile, I have been working on my E46M, started a build journal for that - and since I promised to post a link to it - here it is:

Thanks - if you are referring to E46, those are all "before" pics. Even though I'm almost done with it, I just have way too many pictures taken over the last few months to sort through all at once. I'm getting there though, hopefully over the holidays I'll have some time to do a write up.
