Anybody seen any good deals on DSLR cameras or PS3s? I don't want any additional lenses or any crappy game bundles. Would be nice if people posted up deals they were planning on getting or thought were real good instead of just linking to all the sites we all already know about.

www.blackfriday.net

HH Gregg already has some really good deals on TV's, just ordered a Panasonic 42" Plasma for $499 which is cheaper than everyone else...free shipping as well...

http://www.hhgregg.com/ProductDetail...roductID=72566

Also picked up the more expensive version of that TV (few more features) at Best Buy for $519, I think it ran up wrong but it was part of a bundle with a Blu Ray player...was supposed to be $649 but rang up for $599 instead...

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Panasoni...&skuId=9761068

All the reviews say these are the best bang for the buck...

Tut, Buy.com had the PS3 for $199 and you can check threads here...

The only thing I can compare it to is getting my Sharp 42" LCD, 1080P (abt 6 months ago) for 450 - and I'm nowhere near the TV guru but I thought plasmas were cheaper?

Last week picked up a 60" LCD, 240Hz for 1200 - Gears of War 3 we're waiting for you
LCD fail

plasma > lcd/led

Those are definitely good deals on a great brand of plasmas, especially 1080p with 600Hz...nothing as of yet can touch the refresh rate of a plasma...

FYI...Target will have a 40" 1080p LCD for $298 on Friday, LCD prices keep coming down to make way for LED...

I already get a $100 discount on the Macbook Pro I'm looking to buy, but if Apple rocks the same deals on Friday as they did last year, it'll be $200 off, so that's probably my big purchase for the day. As a rule, we don't do XMas gifts or shop on Black Friday. I'm working that day anyhow.

Amazon has the complete Blackadder for $45 (from $80) and the complete Red Dwarf for $80 (from $200).

Must owns for anyone that appreciates great comedy.

IMO Blackadder Goes Forth is the single best season of TV comedy ever; absolutely brilliant.

Basically Amazon has crazy deals on a lot of great TV and movies.

Better than Black Friday- Go to www.restaurant.com and type in "GOBBLE" for the code at checkout. It will take 80% of the gift card price. Most $25 Gift Cards are only $2. Ends tonight. You're welcome.

just make sure to read the fine print- you have to usually spend money in order to use it, and 20% gratuity is typically added, but it's still like eating for half price at your favorite restaurants :-)
