i heard brey krause was developing one as well but never saw it on their site.

looks like the GU1R is discontinued anyways which would explain why this bracket didnt make it to market

Burkhart offers a 11lbs battery. A little pricey but it seems to be one of the few options for intense battery weight reduction.

It was just replaced by the G30. There's also a slightly smaller and less capacity G20 now too. Both are around 5lbs.

the G30 has changed dimensions, my point was if the bracket for the GU1R made it to market it wouldn't bolt on to anything currently available to buy
