It looks good, but for some reason, not using the gasket is bothering me.

the fitment looks great.

i believe there is room for the gasket. this will help prevent chaffing. the height adjuster can be used adjust final fitment from left to right side height. if i remember correctly in the oem csl bumper there's at least 1/4 -1/2 of play so you can adjust independently.

Any updates on the orders? Still haven’t received anything asking to pay the remaining balance and addressing the additional painting of the rear diffuser that I ordered.

I am getting a little nervous. I need perfect fitment so I am hoping these issues get squared.

Hi guys, I was away for a couple of days - I had some things to figure out, please excuse me for the absense.

Anyways, thank you for continously keeping the fire up with these bumpers, I know you expect them, especially since the first item arrived and that is amazing. We have actually almost completed all the bumpers from the bumper order. We have 6-7 bumpers ready in our warehouse, so that is all good. Basically your bumper is ready already if you are in the group-buy and have ordered an FRP bumper. Only the two carbon ones remain.

Now for the bad news. When we began this group buy, the father of my main carbon guy, who makes the diffusers/bootlids (not splitters necessarily, we have a student of his making these), was diagnosed with cancer and had a surgery. Part of the reason we are a bit slow is because, carbon items need to be laid by him, but he needs to take care of his father, cook fo him etc. every day. At the end of last week, his father has had complications and my main carbon person is in the hospital since then and hasn't done mutch which is understandable.

I know this might be another unexpected hickup for you guys, and will probably sturr negative feelings, and I get it - you want your bumpers and we promised to deliver quicker than we can. Sometimes things don't go to plan.

My decision is to just ship some of the bumpers who have been ordered ALONE and are already fully created - spliitters etc. So the people mentioned below - I will tell Mike from group-buy parts to ask for the rest of the funds, and we can send your bumper over. For the rest of the guys, who have carbon fiber diffusers/bootlids etc. I am afraid you will have to wait one - 1.5 more weeks more, at least, so that we can make your items.

That means that we will still ship everything on time, just not in the right order. Basically the next bumpers that will be shipped are:

Greg Wolfe: Detailed bumper with 1x1 splitters
Brandon Smitsky: Bumper - 2x2 splitters

After that we will go back to the original order. These bumpers are created, Greg's bumper is already in detailing, so please look out for Mike's message about paying the rest of the funds.

As for the rest of the guys, including the ones that have already paid. I am trully sorry for the situation, it is hard on us as well. I will do whatever I can to compensate you the best I can!

I know Nabil is waiting on his order for some time. We made the rear diffuser for you, but in my stupidity I broke one of the tabs on the edges, so we will be making a new one for you shortly, and this one will be left for my car. The good news is, again we tested them and - the diffusers fit like OEM, I think you will be surprised!

I hope this doesn't stirr too mutch mayham,
I hope you guys understand that we want this to all happen as smoothly as possible, but it's not always the case. One of the things that will probably come up is - "well how are you working on the airbox then, you must have a second attelier!". That is true, the guys working on the airbox, are working in a separate atelier, but they specialise in prepreg carbon fiber, and they work with totally different processes to get the final product. Every carbon layer (for a lack of a better word) has his own style, and artistry of laying carbon, so we cannot combine the two. I hope I explained this correctly.

I wish you guys all the best for now, and stay safe!
Antony

EDIT:

Some pics of the diffuser... I know the car is filthy, it is in for our Radiator, so havn't washed it really:

P.S. The bootlid is opened on these pics, do not panic, you wount have such a gap under yours!

Totally understandable. Wow, wasn't expecting mine so quickly. I hope fitment is spot on. I will pay balance once emailed. Thanks.
