Default New toy, pics.

Hey everyone, new to the forums and thought I would post pics of my M3. It is a '97 auto sedan. It needs some work and what I thought was a great running car has a head gasket problem but for what I paid it is worth it, I am a complete DIYer. Got this after being introduced to BMWs through my brother and brother in law. With all of your help I look forward to owning a great car and having lots of fun, see you all on the boards.

Welcome and nice sedan! Depending on your plans I would recommend selling your 3.38 diff to a manual m3 and grabbing a 3.91 and a Dinan tranny chip to really wake up the auto.

Congrats on the new ride. Looks like you have your work cut out for you. Get those contours de-chromed while the head gasket is getting done..

Welcome to the forum. Looks like a fun project.

A little OT but how many rpms would you be doing at 80 with the 3.38 compared to the reg 3.23 IIRC? I do alot of highway driving to and from school.
