Michelins are number 1 in my book, but being on top of maintenance is just as important, choose your parts wisely
If you don't believe that you need great tires, then why bother having this car?

Secondly, Michelin tires came stock. A lot of us try to improve upon stock or, at least, stick with stock as it's good stuff. I can't think of anything in my car that's worse than stock. And tires are so important to boot.

Because for a 90% street driven car I believe 80% of the time driving at normal speed limits Michelin PSS are overkill, but thats me.
Also I was responding to aznbo187

You don't buy Michelins for the 80%, you buy them for the 20% (in that example, maybe it's only 5% or 1% for some)

Earlier this year in June, I need a replacement set of tires all around for my O.E 19's for a road trip to Montreal F1 from NYC. I was short on time and went with Toyo T1S in the 225/255 fitment. I should have waited and ponied up for the Michelin's. The sidewall stability and dry handling on the car was far superior on the old Michelin PSS's.

The MPS4S must be the truth.
