Can confirm. ^

The first thing I would suggest when buying any used car is change all of the fluids (coolant, oil, diff, trans, brake fluid) and definitely get the oil analyzed by Blackstone. I'd also suggest doing your water pump since you're at 126k miles. Those last ~60k safely IIRC, so depending on when it was replaced last you might be due for another.

Everything else has pretty much been said in this thread already, so all I have left to say is get acquainted with your car and know what you're getting yourself into. These cars are extremely rewarding to drive, but you need it to be in good shape to experience that. Good shape = good $$$ if you don't DIY.

Also, I might be interested in your Megan section 3 - shoot me a PM when you decide to sell it.

Thank thank first i called the mechanic nice, pretty knowledgable so i dont have to worry about shops qouting me $$$$$.
I told my mechanic my top sort of priority vanos, cooling, subframe. He will come and check it next week. I just bought it yesterday. I saw it on craiglist sunday morning message him and the next day i got it. I have been waiting for like a year so i couldnt let this one go.. He said that hhe bought it 2 years ago and only put less than 10k miles. Always been on garage. He said he bought e30 or e36 its a 325is something. WOW!. I only drove the car for maybe only 20-30 miles so hmmm maybe i did rushed it.
I will surely replace the cooling first. Since thats like somewhat cheap and easy. Then do oil analysis.
Now for wheels and exhaust.
I will put up pictures sorry im at work right now. I have 5 csl wheels 4 now currently on the car 3 wheels are well perfect flawless no curb the other one has a curb rush but you can even count it like 5 scratch. And 1 brand new extra csl all 19'.
And i also have anothrr 4 wheel + tire he included (this is probably the one ill sell. Idk the brand i have yet to actually check them)
Exhaust - yes i think i will be selling it since i have to do maintenance on the car (will see)
Again ill be putting the pictures once i get home. So please look forward to it. Ill give out my number so we can talk or text.
The shop i had It PPi said the oid covrr gasket is 26 hours labor!!! And there hour charge is $90? Anyone put some input. I dont go shop so idk how much other shops charge

An oil pan gasket is not 26 hours of labor. Perhaps they said 2-6?

Don't get any work done there.

$2400 should cover the rod bearings being replaced, twice... which includes an oil pan gasket refresh.

Even if the recall was done at around 30k miles you should still replace the rod bearings when you're replacing the oil pan gasket. oh yeah... and also

http://s1281.photobucket.com/user/Louie_Lazo/story

might be better to view.
i was in hurry trying to at least clean the wheels. getting late.
what you guys think.
Just realized i dont have the strut bar.
just cleaned the wheels and they are so much better no. like night and day lol
i dont think i have the stock exhaust. it sounds a bit like boring-ish like theres no rasp like what others have stock. and when i turn off the car it sounds like a mechanical keyboard just little bit quiter if that makes sense lol like the transmission when u clutch and kinda shakes a little bit.

https://ibb.co/j4Rcvn came with the car goodies lots brand new lol

Early E46 M3s didn't come with strut bars. 27hrs. for an oil pan gasket? Hmm. . . Fishy.
