I just want to know what micron size does it filter down to, if it's not as good as paper it's not worth the time and expense. Flowing 7x as much as paper is meaningless since the present flow rate of paper is not a problem.

My injection molding machines have stainless filters like this. When they start to plug I get a warning that there is too much back pressure. I take the filter out and send it away to be ultrasonically cleaned. I can't imagine using brake cleaner to clean a filter. Way better and cheaper to do a paper filter that is a known working system.

Between the hassle mess and the amount of motor oil that would just go down the drains to spread and pollute, not worth it. Would not use it if it was free tbh.
