So the 8R 18x9.5 ET35 will clear the 380 BBK? Didn't see any specifications of which fitments will and won't clear.

There's still detailed information on their website from what i've seen here:
https://www.apexraceparts.com/blog/a...ls-really-jwl/

My guess is that the post was taken down because they realized there were better ways to approach the subject matter. Nonetheless, some pretty crazy information regarding T7

Didn't seem to go as planned as they got absolutely roasted. It was an entertaining train wreck to watch while it lasted.

Whoever thought that was a good idea needs to be fired.

The forged wheel Group Buy is already live for fitments in "phase 1" of production. Click the "learn more" button in the OP to visit our forged landing page on the APEX site.

Edit 2- nvm on 1st question I see your site has that covered.

Yes, both the ARC-8R and EC-7R forged wheels will cler the Brembo 380mm BBKs.

I strongly urge everyone to click the "learn more" buttons in the OP to read through the features benifits our new forged wheel line has to offer.

Great question. The ARC-8R because of the substantial load rating increase from 1550 lbs to 1800 lbs saw a negligible increase in weight. We wanted a stronger option. The EC-7R because of the addition of “I” beam spokes shed significant weight over the flow formed EC-7.

Yes. The 18x9.5” ET35 will clear a Brembo 380!

Germany requires TÜV. We chose to independently test our wheels with the VIA. Unfortunately, Germany will not accept VIA certificates as a TÜV alternative. It could be possible that our most popular fitments get TÜV certification in the future.

We directly called them out for false advertising. We stand by those facts. The Facebook post was hijacked by a few individuals and outsiders who jumped in to stir up the drama. Although many people did appreciate the info, it still shouldn’t have been executed that way, and was destined for failure.

It was unprofessional to call them out so directly and publicly, regardless of how serious their offense is. Rightly so, our delivery became the focus. Social media is not the place to air those grievances. It was obviously out of character and we deleted it as it doesn’t fit with the reputation we’ve built over the past 12+ years.

At least you enjoyed the show. It’s back to boring old APEX now.
