Yes. It'll take longer but it can be done just the same.
Several people have done it already.

Definitely easier with a lift. I have a garage but it doesn't fit a regular lift so I got a quickjack instead

Well done!
It's not too crazy of a job once you get into it. I had to do this on my E92M. ![]()

Impressive work and documentation....thanks for sharing.
A while back, I paid $2200 labor fee to have a shop did it for mine. |

This is a totally unrelated question, but Did E90s ever get carbon fiber roof?

Unfortunately they did not. The best you can get is a slicktop, like the E46M On the F80 you can get the CF roof. Finally!

![]() How different were your bearing clearances between severely worn and relatively good ones? BE bearing seems to come in one size. Am I looking for 0.0025 ideally for clearance? Or am I looking at 0.0027~0.0028 for maximum clearance?

I haven't removed the BE bearings. I will after ~100 track days and post the results. The bearing clearances are in the DIY, I don't recall them off the top of my head

You can buy a CF roof for the E90. A few here have installed them. Don’t know the details. Maybe Lang Racing.
