There were several different variants of Bosch headlights produced for the E36, and many of the original Bosch parts were made in the Czech Republic (long known for their excellent glass works).

If you're genuinely interested in learning about Bosch headlights for the E36 I would be happy to elaborate on what I know of the options and history for you.

Throw a few silica gel packets in the back of the headlights to get moisture out if you don't need to clean them. Good write-up though.
