Yep for trips under 3 days.

How's this any worse than a grocery store parking lot where old ladies open their doors by kicking them with their feet?

Hell no. But then again I live in the state that has the 7 out of the 10 top county's for vehicle theft.

I'd much rather overpay for a taxi there and back then leave my sweet car at the airport for a week!

There are tons of places that will store the car for a short period of time near PDX. Hell, even a storage center should offer that service, take a Uber from the storage center to the airport.

This. Just find a spot on the end and offset the car away from the adjacent spot to avoid door dings. If the cost is a concern, find an off-site parking lot with covered parking and use their shuttle.

If I can leave my 35K-mile E39 M5 at the airport in the middle of tornado alley, I think your's will survive PDX..

I have never had a problem. Leave my Cayenne at the airport at least once a week for anywhere from 1-3 days. I just park in the more expensive lot (company reimburses) where I imagine people are more considerate.

Down here in FL, cab fairs to the airport are usually flat rate, about $35 or $40 each way... always cheaper than parking at the airport for a few days, which I used to do. Look into it.

Nowadays, I leave the bmws home and just take my really beat up old honda civic for times like this and drop it off at park and ride lots near the airport (way cheaper), and just get shuttled to and from the airport back to my car. No harm done.
