Default Bank 2: Lambda Sensor Control & Fuel System Diagnosis

FlipM3, I know you're busy lol so I threw this on the forum hahaha.

Recently did headers and replaced the pre cat 02 sensors. Cleared codes and cleared adaptations. SES light came on and these codes showed up.

Chime in everybody

Runs amazing! Even better now that the O2 sensors have been replaced. SES light came on after about 25-40 miles of driving and O2 sensors we're replaced. SES was on beforehand as well due to failing O2's. Misfire codes were also recorded but none since pre cat O2 sensors were replaced.

25 or 40 miles after new headers were installed... Double check the O2 sensor and temperature sensor wiring to make sure they did not accidentally fall out of place and then touch the header piping, thereby burning the wire's insulator and creating a short. If this happens, using copper wiring to repair the O2 sensor wiring is acceptable, but not on the temperature sensor because it's a thermocouple.

If all the above is kosher, use an OBD2 reader that can actually read the voltage of the O2 sensors in real time, not just a reader that provides a code; the latter is useless for the kind of diagnosis you want to do. Obtain real time O2 sensor info while the car is running or at rest. From what I remember, with the motor off, all voltages should be < 1 or right at 1 volt and they should read all the same since they are in a resting state, meaning bank 1 that is good on your car, and bank 2 which has the DTC. If one sensor has a very high value or no value at all compared to the bank 1 sensors, then you've just found the sensor that's given up the ghost. Again, compare the voltage against bank 1 since that side is ok. Now start the engine and see on the oscilloscope or real time voltage readings and compare bank 2's O2's against bank 1's up and down voltage reading. If one sensor reads higher/lower or not at all compared to the bank 1 side which is good, then you've confirmed which sensor is bad. There, simple as that; now go do it...
