Not sure if this as ever been posted before, but came across these today and thought it was rather good read with excellent high resolution photos.

I hadn't seen this before, some great pics for sure. Also surprised the S62 only weighted 6lbs more than the S54.

If that's true (I have doubts), that means the S62 is ~25 lbs lighter than the S65

Someone on this forum appears to have weighed both and the result was the S62 is 76 lbs heavier.

That agrees with BMW.

Which also means the s65 splits the weight difference, which makes sense from a 3 liter, 4 liter, and 5 liter.

That sounds much more realistic. Maybe in the 6 lbs article they were comparing one engine with accessories to one without?
