I think it's the manufacturing - this is a small operation.

Last I heard RTD was completely slammed with orders and they're trying to get them all out in time for Christmas. For the price and quality, it's worth the wait.

You will not be disappointed.

Bringing this thread up.

I'm strongly considering placing an order for their non-locking version.
This is probably an obvious question, but would anyone with experience here recommend their DSSR and solid trans/engine mounts "while I'm at it"?

I have a UUC DSSR in combination with my RTD shifter. I added it while I had an AKG shifter. Only change I noticed was more vibration transmitted through the shifter. I can also say you will hate life with solid mounts on anything less than a dedicated track car.

Lol ya.. I was all solid with my last car, this M3 is more of a do-everything.
I guess this question was generated from reading all sorts of anecdotes about slop/torsion in the drivetrain generating miss-shifts, issues with centering etc. (Again, going to chalk that up to driver error)

I'm going to assume that one could install this shifter assembly by itself and still enjoy it for DE/AutoX duty without having to go full retard on all accompanying transmission bits?

I have a non-lockout RTD with their DSSR, and i strongly recommend the DSSR.

I also have solid mounts, but this is a track car only. I wouldn’t do solid mounts on a daily driver, but it would be a good time to replace the tranny mounts. One of mine was split in half and the other halfway through.

Cool - thanks for your input. This seems like the way to go.

timely update here - heard from Maher today and for those that ordered the REVO1, they're currently in final assembly and should be shipping Monday/Tuesday.
