Nobody was going to battle with that initial overbid

Well, whether this was an overbid or not is yet to be determined. Rare colors always bring more.
If I were to list my Dakar I would ask at least that, and mine is nowhere near 61K. Though, much cleaner and maintained car, but still.
Don't know if it would sell for that, but I'm at the point (and I'm sure many owners are too) where I would rather keep, than sell for anything less.

I don’t remember yours looking that clean before you cleaned it up

My TV has accidents on record but all original vin tags, so it’s basically worthless

I think it’s awesome. It’s not worth hmming and huhing over a couple grand. In long term ownership those dollars and cents don’t mean shit. Pony up and get what you want because second chances on these kinds of specs don’t always come back around.

Wholeheartedly agree! Settled a couple of times and regretted it later.

I think “overbid” may have come across more negative than intended. What I really meant to say was “outbid”, he basically cleared the room to get what he wanted and was very clear about it in comments.

Texaz I bought a b5 S4 in Imola yellow back in 2001 that I ran into the ground throughoit college up in CO, so my yellow car life has been lived

I had that steering wheel in my 328i. Love the design, plus as Brett says, it’s huge.

The M wheel is much better, even though 10mm doesn’t sound like much. And big bonus is you can fit the MFL buttons pods from the larger E38/39 version without needing to mod the wheel.
