I was convinced I wanted a Focus RS over my modified Focus ST but the M3 has killed that desire and I'm in a vert no less. This damn car is just fun. I'm seriously considering buying a coupe just so I can feel both ends of the spectrum where this car is concerned.

It does get better and better every year. But for some reason, my bank account hasn't grown every year since I've bought this car.

Pretty pointless car to own if you don't drive in such a fashion imo.

I've got 180,000 miles, and there is an issue inside the transmission. I believe its compression spring related, gear selector type of issue. Other than that, drives hard.

Weird.

Car seems to get a little bit better every year. And faster by a little each time.

My wallet is getting lighter at a much more astronomical rate however.

It does for me!

And I feel like I just reset the clock, with all new OE rubber throughout the driveline and suspension!

The recent add of Dinan springs to compliment the KONIs was the cherry on top! Handles like a driving machine!

M3 better -> wallet lighter, that's the theme here.

I was just thinking this same thing the other day. I thought to myself...."hmmm, I've had the SMG on level 6 for at least 2 weeks now and I've been pretty much redlining her every other day. This feels like the closest I've come to beating on her for a long period of time in awhile"
