It would be my pleasure brothers!

Here's what the paint looked like after a polish. Gotta love Techno!

Then I concentrated on getting all the water marks off the glass. Keep in mind, this car has been thoroughly washed and clayed at this point:

On the left, you can see how the light bulb is not clear in the reflection. Just so much garbage on this thing

Here's a new pad vs used one. Crazy! This kit is made by Griot's garage

Unfortunately, I wasn't careful and lifted the polisher before it stopped spinning. It threw polish dust all over the car.

After another wash and a second layer of Menzerna sealant, here's what the car looks like. Sun was not cooperating so you can't see the nice finish. Still not perfect, but good enough for now. Will post more pics when the sun reappears

Since everyone has been picking up cool project cars and giving them attention, I decided not to get too far behind. No big mods or anything, just stuff I should have done years ago to be honest. The E36 is at 140k miles, and within a year or two, will be splitting DD duties with a Tundra that I'm interested in adding.

Full interior detail, finally fixed driver seat recline gear, new cabin air filter.

After first round of shampooing:

I need to get rid of the angel eyes, reglue door panels and brake job. Also need new window trims as mine are starting to show rust. I put 2600 miles on the E92 the past 2 years, and even less than that on the E36. Time to do small refresh and start driving them more.

Hit up those steering wheel threads while you are at it, glad you have some new found motivation! I’m starting to regain some too and plan to start working on my techno again also. I put about the same mileage on mine the last couple of years.

^Oh yea, that's also on the to-do list, along with repainting the OEM diffuser. The airbag also needs some attention because it just looks kind of greasy.

Put the interior back together and went for a drive. Proper driving position is so underrated

I don't hate the Vaders as much as I always have now. The seats have held up pretty well for 140k considering this car is not a show car. The driver bolster will need some work, but it's definitely not torn. I've always wanted to dye them Cinnamon to see what they would look like, but this set might be a little too clean to experiment on.

Car cleaned up great, interior looks almost mint!

Now I'm wondering what my cabin filter looks like...
