Yesterday's updated remote tune with Randy Mueller at EPIC Motorsports (http://epicmotorsports.com/). Not too shabby.

I'd added a Dinan intake and, more importantly, got the VANOS working properly (fixed bad connector on VANOS plug). Randy thinks, short of a CSL intake and Alpha-N tune, that's about all we can get. It's a 2001 M3.

Results:
Horsepower at Rear Wheels: 356.61
Torque: 260.16
Now to go get my butt kicked in SCCA GT2.

About 356/253 in SAE. Very nice! As good as or better than the typical stock S65 (and a nicely modded N/A S65 does only about 10% more than this).

The Schrick Cams (https://www.bimmerworld.com/Schrick-...3-MZ4-S54.html), EPIC Headers (https://www.bimmerworld.com/Epic-Mot...M3-Header.html) from Bimmerworld, the Supersprint Race exhaust and a BIG Hammer.

Randy at EPIC noted even with a CSL intake and Alpha-N tune, maybe another 10HP. He's done a great job and been very patient with yours truly. On next rebuild, I may go crazy with forged internals to lighten rotating mass significantly.

The car still needs a better driver.

Negative ghost rider. Even the INPA/ISTA range allows for lazy vanos units to pass. 395ms is a "PASS"....
