Default Wilwood brake kit - 140-14978

https://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/Br...emno=140-14978

Anyone have any experience with the latest Wilwood brake kit for our cars???

It uses their latest 6 piston kit and appears from the profiles to fit under stock 18 and 19 inch wheels without spacers as it is very similar to the Alcon advantage6 and AP 5575 kits.

Would love to hear from anyone with experience.

Seems well priced also

I think a removable bridge is a must especially if you change pads often. Mostly because Iím too lazy and spoiled. It also reduces the chance of an installation error for whatever that is worth.

Also, parts availability is something to consider.

Other than that, depends on what youíre using it for. I think it will work better than OE.

Wilwood calipers don't have dust boots, right? That I think would prevent me from using them on a street car.

I just bought Willwood 4 Piston 325MM BBK for my Z3M S54 with one piece rotors (stock e46 m3 size) on sale for 960$ not including a 100$ gift card provided.

Heres the facts... they are made in USA (Stoptech is made in China), bias is calculated specifically if you do 4 wheel BBK or 2 wheel, and they seem to be a good all around value.

I've known Wilwood for about 20 years know and I think they have a pretty good track record.
