Default 20k mile mint M and my nav screen craps out.

Had this car for 3 years since 14k miles. It's pleasure only so it's in great shape. Turned it on in one of the typical NJ days where it thinks it's Alaska and I got this. GUT WRENCHING. Anyway I'll probably drive off a cliff staring at this thing because how much it bugs me so I need to get this taken care of. Is there even a repair for this?

I really want to stick to OEM as I plan to never mod my car. Dynavin is a last resort and damn is it expensive.

Anyone else go through this? Please help before my OCD turns my hair grey.

If you do anything aftermarket, do the Avin-- it looks stock, unlike the Dynavin.

If you want to replace just the screen on your unit, I believe PN LQ065T98R51U at http://www.bestpixelrepair.com will do it, though I'd call them to confirm.

Wow dude. Awesome help. The Avin unit is NICE. I might just do that to get more functionality. Can't believe it looks so much better than Dynavin.

I ordered the Avin and THE NEXT DAY my stock screen decided to do what yours did. I guess it was mad at me

Dead pixels due to age, you can order a replacement panel and swap it out.

When I was in your spot, I went with Dynavin. I canít say it ever lived up to my expectations, though it was better than stock. Electronics have come a LONG way in the last 15 years, and though I saw the screen replacement options for $250 on eBay, the screen wasnít the only thing deficient. It was just the first to totally stop working. The rest, when working perfectly, was still deficient by modern standards. I had done the BavAuto sub and mid-bass upgrades, so to get the most out of that ó plus other modernities ó I went aftermarket. I barely drive the car, so itís not been worth yet another head unit for me (I generally turn the display off anyway), but if I had it to do again I might do Avin. I might also do Dynavin again. Despite all youíll read here, Iím 50/50 on which is best.

Never had an Avin or the stock Nav but FWIW, I've had a dynavin N6 for 3 years with no issues. And although it doesn't perfectly look like the stock nav unit it's still a quality piece that is a substantial upgrade from stock business radio.

Here you go. Youíre in jersey. He supplied the new screen and installed in like 15 minutes. Was extremely reasonable.

The new screen will make it feel new again. Donít do the aftermarket.
