Man, this thing looks so badass. Pixels are starting to die on my factory nav screen, and I been wanting to add Bluetooth. Might have to order one of these.

Factory antenna in coupes is under the rear deck. In verts itís under the dash.

The kit comes with a gps antenna. They sell a adaptor to use the OE nav antenna if you prefer it.

If you have a non nav car, I believe the only thing you need is the unit and the relocation kit.

So for what it's worth, I took a look, and although I have a GPS antenna, the plug is different than what the navigation cars come with (the blue one; I don't know what the other connectors are for).

A combo of this extension cable and this adapter should do the trick if you want to use the factory antenna. Could probably even get a custom built cable that has the correct connections at both ends without needing an adapter.

I realize this is probably the wrong thread and most people would probably find it easier to just use the included GPS antenna. But in case anyone else wants to use the Assist GPS antenna, this should work.

Any idea what the vert dash gps antenna mount pn is? I was thinking I might relocate mine there and run it.

That said, the included one is pretty good— it’s picking up 7 different satellites while in my basement!

Are any of these connectors for the mic? Or is the mic integrated into the main harness?

Thanks for the idea. I would prefer to use the factory gps versus running something additional.

I really look forward to the review.

I have used an Eonon for awhile and it starting to get on my nerves.

That's not a bad idea. Based on the nav retrofit PDF, sounds like convertibles already come with the mount. Might be integral to the dashboard (in which case we should have the mount too).

Also worth noting that if you have a climate comfort windshield and/or want to retrofit one (my current one has a crack so I've been thinking about it), that will block GPS reception. That would probably impact the Avin antenna too if you mount it under the dash.

Since you have a CF roof, might be worth just sticking it in the headliner.

No, the mic goes to the main bluetooth/phone harness which isn't pictured here. I *think* the black FAKRA connection is meant for a cell phone antenna (the other end I believe is under the center console). I'm not sure what the 3-pin connector is for.
