I think that I have read that it fits in 18s but I can not I assure it.
At the moment I'm just going to put the forwards until I find someone to make me the rear support

Default M4 Brakes on E46 M3?

So as the world is a small place, I now happen to own the car with gold calipers that was first posted in this thread. Canít say much that hasnít already been said but combined with fresh Pilot Sport 4S rubber Iíve put on, this setup provides immense stopping power and pedal feel is beautifly linear.

Got to be honest and say I have no idea which pads and fluid the car is running at the moment. Should ask mrgicm for previous ownerís contact so I can give a better insight into this an many other things done to my car.

These are not OEM M4 discs used so the brackets and calliper modification is slightley different. I have the OEM M4 calliper and rotors and they fit under a 18" wheel (Team Dynamics Motorsport wheel) so cant say about other wheels.

I have questions. M4 brake disc is different than M performance 34Oi brake disc? What exactly?

According to the catalog is different only diameter / average brake disc (380 vs 370)

I have a problem. The 34Oi M Perfomance brake disc is no good.

Ball joint is on the brake disc. I have a shim 2mm under the brake disc.

Please help me with your ideas.

If you had a time, I'll be happy for any advice. At the moment i stopped on this problem. I do not know what to do.

Nobody had this problem with m4 rotors 380mm I have 370 mm performance rotors. But sizes rotors of m4 and performance are the same.

Brungie: have you pls photo ball joint and rotor ? You have the same rotors m performance 370mm

Thank you so much for your answers.

The M4 is a two piece and 340i is a one piece disc. you need an adapter to fit it properly in either case. You can see the 340 M performance discs on the silver car I posted in the thread above.

My parts dealer is an idiot. You're right. It has a bad catalog mark. M performance is 73,1. M4 is 62. This is my problem. I returned the rotors to the my dealer and I wait for M4 rotors.

Everything should be fine. I will keep informed. Thank you for your advice
