So my best guess it might be the clutch that is going out and probably a few more things that will have to be replaced once I take the tranny apart.

Yeah sounds like clutch. Like I said that light flashes when clutch overheats, if you weren’t driving Id bet you would have been able to smell it.

Curious why you down shifted from 6th to 4th? What was your RPM's in 4th after you down shifted?

I was at about 60mph and around 2.5k RPM before I shifted to 4th.

When I down shifted to 4th my RPM bumped to 3.5-4k RPM
