They said the kit uses an EV0X pad (131mmx75mm), but I forgot I'm still using the stock pad for the caliper (132x76).

So...width or height?
Height.

First post says "All in all, this kit will offer exactly the same front piston area as on the AP RACING e46 KIT and the exact same disc diameter..." and "... an AP Racing disc can be purchased separately and mounted when our discs wear off", hence I use 356mm (as for the AP kit).

The surfcae of the pad material of the AP-pad for the AP kit has a height of 54mm (D54) and is covering most of the AP rotor surface height. If the AP rotor can be used as a replacement, I assumed the Brembo pad had close to the same height. Assuming your data is correct, I do not see how the AP rotor can be used as a replacement if the pad surface in the Brembo kit has a height of 75mm. Assuming their info is correct, the surfcae of the Brembo pad can't be 75mm high...?

That first post is super outdated. You guys need to wait, they haven't even provided a final parts list.

EVO X pad hight of the full pad 75mm, including the metal bracket and extentions top and bottom. The actual ferodo in the middle (shortest distance) is 52mm so it is not an issue to fit on a 54mm disc. We scraped the idea of that disc anyway, but as I said - some mistakes have been made.

Also with the 49% of the ZCP rotor, is wrong, as the pad WIDTH was taken in the calculation (I believe you posted it). You need the pad height, when calculating the radius from the center of the disc to the center of the piston, not the width, and that is still assuming the pad highest point is the disc's highest point. Furthermore you need the hieght of the FERODO (actual pad) not the height of the pad+metal plate behind it, as it extends above the height of the disc to the caliper pins.

More info will be availiable soon, I am just pointing some things out.

+1

Bit the bullet and installed new rotors today - super excited for this (but not looking forward to installing)

Hi Guys,

Small update here. The kit and brackets are ready. I just ordered the braided brake lines from Goodrich, and they should be here in 10 work days (arround 2 weeks). After that all will be photographed therally - placed on the car and the GB will be opened! Havn't been too active here lately - we are just developing a lot of things, so I hope you understand.
