Default M3 Servicing!! Urgent Advice Needed

Guys looking to purchase an e46 m3 with 4800 miles on a 55 plate registered in Oct 2005! The problem is i'm confused! The car has had the running in service at 925 miles with no oil service yet? I went to my local Synter deal to check whether this was ok? and was advised as the miles was low it should be ok? although i've been told the oil service should be every two years??

Should i purchase the car?

Its now had a oil service yesturday at a local dealer but i'm concerned it missed one??

Help Guys?

Mitch

That seems very very low mileage for a four year old car, does everything seem to match the miles, ie: pedal wear, steering wheel wear etc..
I change my oil every year regardless, but my car sits alot without doing too much and that is also not a good thing, hence the regular oil change.
in the case of your proposed new car,it's too late, you can't do an extra change to make it up, some people go buy the book and wait until the first 6000k and others do it on a time basis, I am time rather than miles
can't see that it would cause any problems, the engine should still be purring like a little tiger, wouldn't worry about it, and if you do buy it, make your own plan.
