Hard to tell but is the airbag flap door also held by rivets?

Errr edit. Now that I think about it. Airbag panels use the plastic pins. I don’t think there was any glue or it was very little as I first thought.
Intersting. I thought just the Sedan/Touring had the pins. Good to know.

Default Interior Door Cards and Rear Seat differences

Brett going back to your point on the rear bolsters. It looks like I ended up acquiring late model rear seats with the plastic clips.

So are you saying it is not possible to convert the early model cars to accept plastic clips on the newer bolsters?

As in will the early models accept the plastic clips?

I never tried to make it work. This was in 2006.

Another stupid question, i imagine the door cards are cross compatible between the years even though later years have airbag provision?
